If you're looking for authentic, homemade Italian food, you have to try Bella Italia on East Michigan Street in Orlando. This little family-owned restaurant is truly a hidden gem! I came here for my birthday with my dad and brother, and every single thing we ordered was incredible. The homemade pesto is absolutely amazing, we had both the fettuccine pesto and spaghetti pesto with shrimp, and they were huge, incredibly tender, and cooked perfectly, not overdone at all. You can immediately taste the freshness. I ordered the Penne alla Vodka, and the sauce was perfectly creamy, rich, and full of flavor. The calamari was some of the best I've had. It was lightly battered, perfectly crispy, and still so tender inside. The garlic knots were another standout golden and slightly crisp on the outside, but unbelievably soft, light, and airy on the inside. They weren't greasy or heavy like so many places. Of course, we had to try the pizza! The New York-style cheese slice was enormous, almost as big as the plate. Carbonara was so good! Really bacon, ziti pasta was al dente, the sauce was full of flavor. The garlic knots is a must try, but beware you'll want more. Lunch price didn't break the bank.

Best pizza in town!! I moved to the area and have been so disappointed with the pizza from other restaurants and am so happy I found Bella Italian Pizza! Their staff is friendly, professional, the atmosphere is clean and inviting and best of all their food is delicious and fresh! I will never go to any other pizza restaurant but here for now on! They always impress me! Thank you to the staff for existing! :)

Nice pizza shop. Pizza crust is perfect! Delicious pizza. Aldo, the owner, is very friendly. And several of the cooks are Italian immigrants. What more could you ask for?! 🙂

I previously reviewed Bella Itlaia last year and came back today. Still excellent!! We came here on Friday evening around 8pm. It was busy, but not packed to the point where we had any issue finding a seat. It’s the kind of place where you seat yourself. We sat at a smaller booth at first, and shortly after sitting down we were offered a larger booth. The smaller one would have worked, but why not be comfortable? We originally ordered garlic knots, but our server suggested the garlic zeppoli instead. I’m pretty sure that’s what they were called. They were like little garlic knots, covered in garlic and butter, and they came with some really good marinara sauce. These were absolutely delicious and probably my favorite thing we ordered. For dinner we got the chicken parm, spaghetti and meatballs, and broccoli fettuccine Alfredo. The portions were large, and everything was really, really good. The whole time I kept thinking, this was definitely a good idea tonight. No complaints on the food at all. The service was excellent too.
